Nature of the App
The App provides informational guidance for Hindu last rites and post-death administrative procedures in India. It is not a substitute for legal, medical, financial, or religious advice. Practices vary significantly by region, community, and family tradition. Confirm ritual details with your family elders, priest, or relevant authorities. The App does not provide legal advice regarding death certificates, succession, banking procedures, or insurance claims. For official processes, follow the instructions of the relevant government authority, bank, or institution.
Eligibility
The App is intended for adults aged 18 years and above. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.
User conduct
You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose — as a personal reference and coordination tool for families navigating last rites and related administrative procedures. You agree not to: (a) copy, modify, or redistribute the App's content without written permission; (b) reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code; (c) use the App for any commercial purpose without written permission; or (d) misrepresent the App's guidance as legal, medical, or official advice.
Data and privacy
The App stores your checklist progress locally on your device only. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information, checklist data, or usage analytics. No account or sign-up is required. For complete details, see our Privacy Policy. If you reset or uninstall the App, your locally stored progress will be permanently deleted.
Intellectual property
All content, design, structure, and code within the App are the intellectual property of Keshiha Services Pvt Ltd and are protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and other applicable laws of India. The content is original and compiled from publicly available cultural and administrative practices.
Disclaimer of warranties
The App and all content therein are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. Keshiha Services Pvt Ltd makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, ritualistic correctness, or completeness of the information provided. The information provided by the Antim Sanskar Guide is for informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal, financial, or religious advice. Users are encouraged to consult with qualified priests (Pandits), legal counsel, or local authorities before making any final decisions based on the app's content. Given the variation in practices across regions, communities, and families, we strongly recommend confirming any guidance with your family traditions and relevant local authorities.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law (including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), Keshiha Services Pvt Ltd, its directors, or employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: • Errors or omissions in content. • Emotional distress or family disputes arising from the use of the App. • Rejection of documents by government or local bodies. • Any unauthorised access to your local device data. In no event shall the total liability of the Company for all claims related to the service exceed the amount paid by the user to the Company (if any) in the last six months, or ₹500 (INR Five Hundred), whichever is lower.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Keshiha Services Pvt Ltd, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or legal fees arising out of your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party religious or legal rights.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be made available within the App and on our website at antimsanskarguide.com. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
